1.This enduring and fully funded FTRS (HC) post is the staff lead for MP Reserve recruiting and retention including annual assurance visits to 1 MP Bde units. This requires travel and overnight stays and liaison with the NRC and unit RRMTs and RSTs as required. 2. It is the Secretary for the Biannual Reserve Working Group (RWG); and plans and organises the RWG and completes and issues the RWG Record of Decisions (RoDs). 3. Provides SME advice to PM(A) and the Senior Advisory Group (SAG) on Reserve policy; and is required to brief up to 1* and 2*. Also provides the quarterly staffing reports of Reserve strength v workforce requirement, including PAPMIS Audit statistics, to PM(A) and the SAG. 4. Supports weekend and evening recruitment and retention activities including Employer Engagement (EE). 5. Assists AH MP and the Reserve Cell (RC) with Reserve issues involving MP Reserve Phase 2 Training, MP Reserve personnel serving at E2, management and oversight of the annual RSD allocation including expenditure and assuring Reserve Staff RSD usage. 6. Is the staff lead on ensuring 1 MP Bde complies with mandated annual Employer Notification (EN) requirements. 7. Assists with Reserve Career Management (CM) issues including boarding requirements, updating MP Cap CM policy, liaison with APC, DSPS, DCLPA, HQ AGC, HQ 1UKXX and external units and Formation HQs. 8. Carries out any necessary tasks required by DCOS, COS or PM(A) commensurate to rank and position.
