We have a rarely available opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our unique organisation which delivers acomprehensive HR support service to employer members from the not-for-profit sector across Scotland.
EVH – supporting social employers is an employer’s federation in the voluntary sector, the only one of its kind inScotland. We have more than 130 employer members throughout the country, employing between them over 3,000staff.
We are a small, dynamic and buoyant team within a pleasant working environment offering excellent terms includinghybrid working mainly consisting of two days office based, three days at home and a generous annual leaveentitlement.
As our Senior HR Advisor, you will be an integral part of our HR Support team providing support, advice and coachingto all levels of management on employee relations matters. You will be accountable for the provision of adviceon complex employee relations cases, ensuring that your advice is legally compliant, in line with best practiceoffering a practical approach which is both solution and risk based. You will also be involved in the provisionof HR consultancy services to our members, providing training on HR related topics and keeping our resources formembers up to date.
You will have a relevant higher education qualification combined with practical experience of managing complexemployee relations cases from start to conclusion. You will have practical HR knowledge and skills with theability to apply these to a variety of different situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skillswill come naturally to you allowing you to present information in various formats and easily build effectiveworking relationships.

An ability to understand and apply employment law provisions and statutory guidance in practice, is essential alongwith an ability to identify and articulate risks and opportunities.
Excellent people, organisational, communication and influencing skills are core skills as are good working knowledgeof Microsoft packages and systems.
It would be helpful, but not essential, to demonstrate your previous experience working at an HR professional level,with experience of change management and in developing and implementing HR systems.

The role of the Stroke Nurse is to facilitate a smooth transition from hospital back into the community, for peoplewho have had a stroke and their families. The Stroke Nurse helps them adjust to the changes associated with thestroke, through the provision of information, advice and support.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is organised and motivated, with good communication skills. Candidatesmust have a first level general nursing qualification and have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experiencein either a hospital or community setting. Experience working with people affected by stroke is desirable.
