About this role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious paralegal to contribute to the growth and success of our family law practice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in family law, with a proven track record of successfully helping fee earners with complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Case Management: Assist in management of a varied and complex caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering a personalized service, understanding their needs, and providing clear communication throughout the legal process.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective client service. The ideal candidate will have first-hand experience supporting partners and/or senior solicitors with their case management.
4. Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the family law practice through business development initiatives, networking, and fostering relationships within the legal community.
5. Legal Research: Stay informed about changes in family law, precedents, and legislation, and apply this knowledge to enhance the quality of legal services provided.

Qualifications:

1. Qualifications: It is preferred that the candidate will have an undergraduate degree and/or CILEX training.
2. Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in handling a diverse range of family law cases, showcasing a deep understanding of relevant legal principles and procedures.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
4. Client-Centric Approach: A commitment to providing exceptional client service, understanding client needs, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
5. Team Player: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
6. Business Acumen: Ability and interest in contributing to the business development activities of the firm, including client acquisition and retention.
