PLEASE NOTE - The role is located in the Kuwait region and the successful colleague will be relocating to country for the project with company assistance. Role Overview of the Electrical Installation Technician We are seeking an experienced of Electrical Installation Technician to provide in-person support to our field installation teams and subcontractors. You will inspect and review completed work to ensure quality standards and completing reports, along with training and coaching field engineers both remotely and onsite to conduct work to the highest quality standards. You as our Electrical Installation Technician will work closely with our UK based teams and local sub-contractors to provide robust oversight of all installations, from sensors to servers to power systems to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained and that approved designs are followed. Responsibilities of the Electrical Installation Technician (not exhaustive): Review and approve proposed electrical and mechanical installation configurations for a variety of equipment that rely upon electrical utility and power systems Physically oversee and / or undertake installations Train and coach field engineering teams to ensure high quality and consistent workmanship Help build and maintain standard work procedures and standards Review equipment installations, identify issues and propose and lead remedial work Where relevant, deeply understand equipment installation and configuration requirements to enable correct commissioning Ensure all installations comply with technical standards, safety protocols, and project specifications Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all integrated systems Document installation procedures and generate detailed reports for project stakeholders. Help to devise and define long term maintenance programs that ensure systems and equipment are operate optimally and reliably Hands-on approach to all installations, with regular site visits; often in remote locations Requirements of the Electrical Installation Technician Proven experience in electrical and mechanical installations – for example integrated CCTV and building monitoring systems, building power systems and or communication towers Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety regulations, and networking fundamentals Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, server rack layouts, and technical drawings, schematics, standards and specifications Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Benefits for the role Highly Competitive salary and Package to support In-Country Colleagues Private health care Career Development opportunities SRT Marine plc are an equal opportunity employer.
