A Day in the Life of a Conference & Events Team Member
What you'll be doing:
* Welcoming delegates and guests with a warm smile and attentive service, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
* Running events, noting and fulfilling special requests.
* Serving food and drinks with care, maintaining high presentation standards and smooth timing.
* Setting up, cleaning, and resetting event areas to keep spaces inviting and organized.
* Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and non-alcoholic drinks.
* Assisting with inventory and restocking supplies to keep meeting rooms and event spaces well-stocked.
* Upholding hygiene and health & safety standards to ensure a spotless and compliant workspace.
* Collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service and support smooth operations.
What We Need From You
* A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
* Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is welcomed.
* Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
* A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
* Team-oriented, ready to support others and keep service flowing.
* Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak times.
