We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shipley. This full-time, long-term role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners and may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Youll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive. Your role will involve both group and one-to-one support, contributing to the delivery of a creative and child-centred curriculum. Key Responsibilities Support the teacher in delivering EYFS curriculum activities Assist with classroom preparation and organisation Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils Help monitor and record pupil progress Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Support children with additional needs where required Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers Qualifications & Experience Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery) Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
