We have exciting opportunities to join our well-established and growing Day Center Service as a Support Worker in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. This is a permanent role, working 10 hours per week - Wednesday 9.Our Service runs from Monday - Friday so you would not be required to work weekends, which is great for someone looking for work life balance within the care sector.
You will be supporting individuals who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities. this might include sports, acting, trips to the theatre, cooking, or supporting someone to attend social events. Helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. 1 week Easter, 1 week July and 2 weeks Christmas and New Year period)
Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
