Event Manager
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Ceangail’s annual event portfolio, delivering Stirling Highland Games and Sirughlea Festival. This role blends operational precision, commercial awareness, and a community‑focused mindset to achieve event growth and align with Ceangail’s social impact objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all operational aspects of the Stirling Highland Games and Sirughlea Festival, ensuring timely, compliant, and high‑quality delivery.
* Develop and manage event project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Oversee site management, logistics, health & safety, licensing, and risk assessments.
* Embed sustainability, accessibility, and inclusion across all event planning and delivery.
* Build and maintain relationships with Stirling Council, VisitScotland, funders, suppliers, community partners and sponsors.
* Secure sponsorships, grants and income‑generating partnerships to support Ceangail’s financial sustainability.
* Engage educational partners to provide volunteer and skills development opportunities.
* Represent Ceangail externally at forums and industry networks to enhance visibility and reputation.
* Collaborate with Marketing to deliver cohesive campaigns that drive attendance, engagement and positive media coverage.
* Contribute to storytelling and digital content that showcases Ceangail’s impact and community value.
* Support data‑driven audience development and ticketing strategies.
* Create and manage detailed event budgets, ensuring fiscal control and accountability.
* Deliver post‑event reports on attendance, finance, stakeholder feedback and community outcomes.
* Track and report on the social and economic impact of Ceangail’s activities in Stirling and beyond.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Event Management, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
* 3–5 years’ experience in event, festival, or community project management.
* Proven success managing outdoor public events with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong financial management and commercial negotiation experience.
* Knowledge of Scottish event licensing, safety and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Competency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems and event management tools.

Salary & Benefits
£30,000 per annum (prorata for 104 days per year)
