I’m currently working with a well-established logistics business that’s looking to add an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing shipments end-to-end while building strong client relationships in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full ocean export process, acting as the main point of contact for customers and ensuring shipments move smoothly from booking through to delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Managing export shipments from start to finish
* Acting as the first point of contact for customers, providing clear and timely updates
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients
* Liaising with customers, customs, and internal teams to ensure all documentation is received on time
* Coordinating with suppliers, forwarders, and overseas agents for accurate shipment updates
* Ensuring customers are fully informed on shipment progress
* Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records
* Completing export documentation and invoicing within deadlines
