Your new roleAs a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing project costs from tender handover through to final account. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Preparing buying schedules and cash flow forecasts
2. Procuring and managing subcontract packages
3. Submitting accurate client applications and managing variations
4. Overseeing subcontractor valuations and final accounts
5. Attending project meetings and managing correspondence
6. Supporting value engineering and claims processes
7. Ensuringpliance with health & safety and QA standards
8. Maintaining financial accuracy using COINS software
9. This is a dynamic role offering exposure to high-value projects and the opportunity to make a tangible impact onmercial oues.
What you’ll need to succeed
10. A degree in Quantity Surveying (RICS-accredited)
11. Minimum 3 years’ experience in amercial or QS role
12. Strong knowledge of British Standards anderning regulations
13. Advanced IT skills including Excel, Word, and COINS
14. Excellentmunication, organisational, and negotiation skills
15. A full UK driving licence
16. Professional conduct and a proactive mindset
17. Training will be provided in key areas, including contracts, estimation, and mechanical/electrical awareness to support your development.
