Overview
The Hollies Care Home in Hessle is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join The HICA Group. In this role, you’ll help deliver exceptional meals and ensure a positive dining experience for our residents. The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours
* £12.22 per hour
* Day shifts available
* 10 hours per week
* Working to a rota covering 7 days per week
The Role
* Document key tasks such as temperature checks and cleaning activities in line with our HACCP system.
* Receive and store deliveries, ensuring accurate records and stock control to prevent waste.
* Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
* Full training is provided so if you are new to the care sector, we will help you start your journey with confidence.
* Prepare beverages, assist with cooking tasks, and serve meals that meet the nutritional needs of our residents.
* Create freshly baked goods, such as cakes and buns, and prepare cold options like salads and sandwiches.
* Cook pre-prepared meals and ensure all food meets required safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, dining areas, and serveries while adhering to health and safety regulations.
