Practice Accountant, Caterham Surrey
£40,000 – £50,000 + Benefits
Fletcher George Recruitment is supporting a privately owned firm of Accountants in Caterham, Surrey who are continuing to grow their offering to a locally based portfolio across Surrey and London.
Applications are warmly welcomed from newly qualified ACCA (or equivalent), MAAT and those who are Qualified By Experience (QBE).

The Role – Practice Accountant, Caterham
As a Practice Accountant based in Caterham, Surrey you will work closely with the Partners and wider team, supporting a varied client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building strong relationships with clients and the management team ensuring a high standard of service
* Providing general accounting and tax advice
* Managing bookkeeping tasks including VAT returns
* Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory accounts (FRS 102)
* Completing personal and corporate tax returns
* Working confidently with modern accounting software, including Xero
Candidate Profile
* ACCA or MAAT qualified, part-qualified or Qualified By Experience
* Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong statutory accounts preparation experience (FRS 102)
* Organised, proactive and client-focused with strong communication skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office and adapting to new technology

Location
Based in Caterham, Surrey and commutable from Sutton, Banstead, Reigate, Redhill, Croydon, Wallington, Epsom, Tadworth and surrounding areas across Surrey and South London.
