Secure Innovation is part of CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for government agencies. Our teams work alongside clients to help them exploit technologies to maintain a competitive advantage. We are currently looking for an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our team – being able to think outside the box to overcome technical challenges is essential!
Your future duties and responsibilities:
* Windows Infrastructure Management: Maintain, monitor, and manage Windows desktop and server platforms. Ensure high availability and optimal performance. Implement security measures and perform regular updates.
* Azure and Office Management: Manage and maintain Azure cloud services and Office applications. Implement and monitor Azure solutions for performance and security. Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
* DNS Management: Oversee DNS configurations and operations. Ensure reliability, security, and performance. Troubleshoot DNS issues promptly.
* Group Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain Group Policies. Ensure alignment with organizational policies and security standards. Regularly review and update policies.
Required qualifications:
* Certification in Windows Server Administration
* Strong understanding of networking and storage technologies
* Knowledge of Azure and Office management
You must hold active HMG HLC Clearance and be a sole UK national.
