E-commerce Manager Job Description


Location: London (Hybrid) or Remote

Neutonic is a fast-growing, nootropic energy brand founded by leading creators Chris Williamson and James Smith. Launched just 2 years ago, we’ve already sold over 5 million cans through our own DTC site and Amazon in the UK and USA, with strong month-on-month growth. With a highly engaged audience, an expanding product range, and significant marketing momentum, our DTC platform plays a critical role in our continued global growth.

Our mission is simple: to help people think clearly, focus better and get more done - without the crash. We create clean, functional products that combine research-backed nootropics with great taste and convenience. Our current lineup includes:

● Productivity Drink – our hero lightly carbonated nootropic energy drink

● Focus Blend – on-the-go caffeine-free powder stick packs

● Brain Capsules – stimulant-free cognitive support in capsule form

● Creatine - on-the-go 5g Creapure® creatine monohydrate per stick for clean, convenient performance support


We’re currently live in the UK, USA and UAE, with further international expansion planned.


The Role


We’re looking for an E-commerce Manager to own and scale Neutonic’s DTC performance across our website and subscription channels. Reporting into the VP, you will be responsible for managing developers, overseeing all website updates, leading the rollout of new features and optimising site and subscription performance to drive growth.


This is a hands-on role focused on driving e-commerce performance through effective website development, feature delivery and ongoing optimisation. You’ll work closely with the entire team of designers, marketers, creatives and operations team to ensure our website is fast, effective and conversion-focused.


Key Responsibilities

● Website Ownership & Development: Manage Neutonic’s DTC website end-to-end, including day-to-day updates, CRO improvements, content changes and technical enhancements

● Developer Management: Lead and manage internal and external developers, owning the roadmap, prioritising tickets, QA’ing releases, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to spec

● Feature Rollouts: Scope, plan, and execute new site features and functionality, from concept through launch, ensuring minimal disruption and strong commercial impact

● E-commerce Performance: Own site trading performance, including conversion rate, AOV, revenue, retention and subscription growth across markets

● Subscription Management: Own and optimise the subscription experience with Skip (or comparable subscription platforms), tracking churn, retention, and LTV, and implementing improvements to drive long-term customer value

● Analytics & Reporting: Monitor site and subscription performance using key metrics and dashboards, delivering clear reporting and insights to inform decision-making

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to support campaigns, launches, and promotional activity, ensuring the site is fully optimised and ready for traffic spikes

● UX & CRO: Continuously identify opportunities to improve user experience through testing, experimentation, and data-led optimisation


About You

● 3–5+ years’ experience in an e-commerce or DTC role, having operated within a high-performing, conversion-led e-commerce website environment

● Proven experience managing developers and overseeing website builds or ongoing development roadmaps

● Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, CRO and subscription economics.

● Proven experience working with subscription tools such as Skio (preferred), Recharge, or comparable DTC platforms

● Confident working with analytics tools and translating data into action

● Highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment

● Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

● Passion for performance, wellness and consumer products
