Job Description
We're looking for a Project Director to join our Construction team based on a project in Hertfordshire.
Location: Hertfordshire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Director, you will oversee the delivery of projects ranging from £60m to over £100m. These projects are within the Defence, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial Sectors for Kier. Your responsibilities include monitoring build progress, overseeing finances, ensuring quality delivery, and providing leadership to Project Managers.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
1. Managing the pre-construction phase to meet the programme requirements.
2. Managing operational communications and relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
3. Implementing the project plan and ensuring contractual compliance.
4. Managing multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
5. Providing timely and accurate progress reports to clients.
Who are we looking for?
This role requires an experienced professional in major projects, with:
* Strong technical and operational credentials within tier 1 construction sectors.
* Ability to manage budgets, programmes, and resources.
* Experience in managing senior teams.
* Proven track record delivering similar schemes.
