Job Description
Our Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) advises major public and private sector infrastructure and asset-intensive organisations across sectors like Natural Resources, Energy, Power, Utilities, Transport, Oil and Gas, Defence, Health, and Education. We are strengthening our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to support how clients use data, analytics, and technology to unlock asset value. This fast-growing area builds on our global capabilities in Infrastructure, Asset Management, and Data Analytics. We seek an ambitious professional passionate about infrastructure and technology, eager to drive improvements for our clients.
The next decade will see significant growth and challenges in infrastructure, power, and utilities sectors, including delivery pace, costs, supply chain issues, and skills shortages. Clients need support in navigating these, transforming organizations, digitizing operations, and improving efficiency.
We are developing our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to assist Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure clients in addressing these challenges. Our team includes expertise in Regulation, Strategy, Project Finance, Capital Delivery, Asset Management, and Operations. We are investing in next-generation technology and AI to enhance our advisory services.
This role involves leading the growth and delivery of Asset Management and supporting technologies, building relationships with senior client management, and engaging with solution providers of Enterprise Asset Management Systems and other digital solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead in KPMG’s global Asset Management and InfraTech networks.
* Manage relationships with Alliance Partners in EAMS and digital Asset Management solutions.
* Oversee project teams for medium-large or complex engagements.
* Drive business development activities, including opportunity identification and proposals.
* Ensure quality and risk management on engagements.
* Manage budgets, reporting, and invoicing.
* Mentor and manage IAG employees.
* Engage in stakeholder management, workshops, and client relationship building.
* Support production of proof of concepts with technical teams.
* Lead change management initiatives.
* Develop internal networks within KPMG’s data, analytics, and technology teams.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in business development and delivery in relevant sectors.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts.
* Experience advising on technology strategies and deploying data, analytics, solutions.
* Understanding of infrastructure sectors and digital asset management.
* Deep knowledge in construction, transport, power, utilities, or defence sectors.
* Innovative thinking demonstrated through past work.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience in disruptive sectors or startups.
* Experience with Asset Intelligence, Digital Twin, or Smart Buildings projects.
* Managing complex change programs with technology components.
* Building business cases for systems and technology funding.
* Problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
* Ability to simplify complex data and technology concepts.
* Managing multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
