The role
As an Integration Engineer, you’ll work at the forefront of engineering innovation, collaborating with design teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that make a real difference, while advancing your own career in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring complex systems and facilities work seamlessly together. This is your chance to contribute to projects that protect national security and support the UK’s defence capability.
1. Supporting the Interface Management process as part of the Integration team
2. Running Integration Workshops and Interface Review Meetings with Design Leads and Design Houses
3. Liaising with BIM Coordinators to identify spatial interfaces and constraints in the Federated Model
4. Maintaining the Interface Reference List and reporting on interface status to the Operations and Integration Manager
5. Reviewing Interface Control Documents and ensuring compliance with Interface Management processes
This role is full time, 35, hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Integration Engineer
6. Knowledge of process optimisation and interface management
7. Submarine maintenance production engineering experience in a dockyard environment - Desirable
8. Experience developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and procedure management information - Desirable
Qualifications for the Integration Engineer
9. Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (e.g., Civil Engineering or equivalent)
10. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards), registered with the Engineering Council
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
