SEN Teaching Assistants to work on an
agency basis across weing mainstream primary schools in
Leamington Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and work flexibly within education.
Your new role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including: Autism, ADHD, Speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support students both in and out of the classroom, helping them to access learning and thrive in their school environment.
What you'll be doing:
Providing 1:1 and small group support within a mainstream classroomSupporting pupils to engage with lessons and follow routines Working alongside class teachers to adapt learning activities Assisting with behaviour in a positive and calm manner Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment What we're looking for:
Experience working with children (education, care, or support work) Passion for supporting pupils with SEN in mainstream education Patient, empathetic, and resilient Strongmunication and teamwork skills Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service What you'll get in return:
