Vanrath is partnering with a leading client in Software to recruit a motivated Sales Development Representative. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, supportive team and focus on building new business opportunities across Belfast and beyond. The Role: Reporting to the Customer Growth Team Leader, your primary focus will be prospecting, qualifying leads, and nurturing potential clients to support the sales pipeline. You'll play a key part in driving growth and helping the wider team achieve ambitious sales targets. This role is office-based initially. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and engage new sales prospects through calls, emails, and digital outreach. (No cold calling - very warm leads) Qualify leads and hand over high-potential opportunities to Account Managers. Conduct research to understand prospective customer needs and tailor approaches accordingly. Support campaigns and targeted outreach initiatives to generate pipeline opportunities. Track activity and maintain accurate records in the CRM system. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads. Assist with reporting on lead generation and pipeline performance. Contribute ideas to improve outreach strategies and increase conversion rates. Your Profile: Previous experience in sales, telesales or business development roles. Strong communication skills and a persuasive, confident approach. Results-driven with a keen interest in generating and converting leads. Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
