Job Title: Teacher of English – Second in charge Employment Status: Permanent Working Hours: Full time, Term time only Salary: TMS/ UPS TLR 2c Required: Easter 2026/ Flexible Location: Blue Coat C of E School, Coventry About the role We are seeking to appoint a motivated and progressive Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to a diverse group of students. You will work collaboratively with our dedicated staff to create an inclusive environment that meets the needs of all learners. The ideal start date is Easter 2026 but we have flexibility and begin candidates sooner or from September 2026 if required. We are looking for someone who: Has Qualified Teacher Status Is dedicated to our vision that all children are entitled to a first-class education. Has experience of promoting positive behaviour conductive to learning and which is focused on raising standards. Possesses a genuine belief that all children are equal and celebrates the diversity in our school communities. All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
