Learning Support Assistant - Maternity leave cover

Monday-Friday Term time only 30 hours a week

Contract end date: 31st May 2027

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at Ashby Hill Top Primary Academy in Ashby de la Zouch (part of The Symphony Learning Trust) covering a maternity leave. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual, able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Working with the class teachers to support teaching and learning.
•Accompanying on school trips.
•Work 1:1 or within small groups.
•Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
•Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources
•Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners
•Creating opportunities for learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability
•Half hour lunch duty

•Previous childcare experience.
