We are recruiting motivated and confident Customer Service Advisers for a client of ours based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills - ideally from a call centre or fast paced environment who thrive on resolving queries and delivering an exceptional service. In this role, you will play a key part in resolving customer billing issues, ensuring accurate and reliable bills, and supporting internal teams with their billing-related questions. Your attention to detail and ability to handle complex information will be essential. This is a contract position that will last for a minimum of 6 months. There is an opportunity to work from home 2-3 days a week. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring all information is accurate and aligned with internal reports. Act as an internal point of contact for billing queries, taking ownership of the resolution process from start to finish. Verify and process billing adjustments, including issuing credits or debits, and communicate outcomes clearly to customers. Share knowledge on billing practices and contribute to efficient team processes. Identify patterns, trends, and areas for continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse data for discrepancies or trends. Confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively and explain complex information clearly. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Experience in the energy or utilities sector is desirable but not essential.
