Key Responsibilities and Search Criteria
* Deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum aligned with GCSE English Language and Literature specifications, ensuring students find their voice and see the world through a diverse range of texts.
* Use data-driven interventions to ensure all students—regardless of background—reach their projected Flight Path and thrive.
* Maintain a focused and inclusive environment using the academy’s firm but fair approach to behaviour management.

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory for this role.
* Degree: A BA/MA in English Literature, English Language, or a closely related Humanities field.
* Experience: A proven history of teaching English within a UK secondary setting (KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience is a plus).
* Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness) and a total commitment to safeguarding.
