Responsibilities:
Portfolio Optimization
1. Implementation of Portfolio Lifecyle Strategies in coordination with the GBU local countries, Supply Chain and Master Data teams, including the business planning, customer communication and ensuring minimal inventory write offs
2. Screen new business opportunities for potential and fit with Cardinal Health and discuss with GBU
3. Understanding customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought and prioritizing customer segments to define pricing strategy by category
Cross Collaboration
4. In collaboration with Supply Chain, represent Marketing to develop and implement new processes such as Manual Allocation and product phasing out across regions
5. Own & communicate the portfolio single source of truth for the regions to keep track of product status
6. Developing/ contributing to regional marketing strategy, value proposition and solutions positioning
7. Ensure Marketing processes are understood and followed by team and update when necessary
8. Lead development of business cases to obtain funding for initiatives such as new regulation or emerging customer requirements
Process
9. Develop the product catalogue every year, for the 3 regions
Qualifications & Experience
10. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
11. 10+ years experience in marketing or product marketing preferably in medical device or health care industry
12. Ability to drive results through collaboration with functions and in-country marketing to lead execution of initiatives
13. Strong business acumen – ability to translate customer needs into internal initiatives
14. Strong influencing skills
15. Strong analytical and process skills
16. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
17. Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross – functional teams
18. Knowledge of socio-economic environment and market dynamics within target market and strong customer and external environment orientation
19. Embraces out-of-the-box thinking in engaging and challenging teams when looking at challenges and opportunities

28. Fluency in English
29. Medical devices industry experience a plus
