Job Title: Sales Specialist Location: Newport Work Pattern - Hybrid (Mon and Tues in office) Reports to: Sales Manager and sales team lead Type: Permanent, full-time Salary: £27,000 base - Double OTE About the Role: We are looking to hire a new sales specialist to play a key role in driving new member growth at our client At the moment they are getting too many leads for the current team to handle, therefore they are looking to add the 3rd new member to the sales team this year. The company is primed for great growth, and this is a great opportunity to earn well in a sales capacity. The company generate new leads through free trials of their platform, you will then pick up these leads and look to upsell - there is no 'new business cold calling' in this role. All of your target prospects have already engaged with the platform and business. The current team is 'awash with new leads' right now and looking to add another person. In addition there are a number of trade shows across the year, these are great opportunities to increase sales and meet targets with a captive audience. I think this is a great opportunity for a hungry, younger salesperson to learn loads and progress their career quickly. Key Responsibilities: Engage and convert leads : Proactively call farmer leads to sell the platform and upgrade them to the most suitable paid plans, achieving high conversion rates through assisted sales. Meet and Exceed Activity and Sales Targets: Ensure you reach your monthly quota in terms of new customers signed up, revenue and call activity Manage renewals : Respond promptly to membership renewals, assist with payments, and handle exceptions to maintain high renewal rates. Support onboarding success : Deliver proactive outbound and inbound support during the crucial onboarding phase to drive strong app engagement and member satisfaction. Maximize every interaction : Ensure each member interaction delivers value, encourages app usage, and supports long-term retention. Champion the member experience : Work closely with your team and manager to foster a culture where the member experience is central to everything we do. Share insights and feedback : Collaborate with internal teams by sharing customer feedback, recurring issues, and product suggestions to help improve the overall experience. Represent the business : Support event preparation and attend trade shows in Ireland and abroad, helping to grow the brand and educate both current and potential members on our app and roadmap. About You: Skills & Attributes: You're highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a sales-driven role - experience is a bonus, but hunger and ambition matter more. A farming background is an advantage, but not essential-full product training will be provided.
