Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in Talbot Green, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. This role offers hands-on experience across transactional finance, month-end reporting, management accounts, budgeting, and VAT, giving you the chance to develop into a fully-rounded finance professional.
Key Responsibilities
1. Check and monitor stock movements
2. Post and reconcile bank transactions and statements
3. Raise and process online payments
4. Manage the sales ordering process and sales invoices
5. Support with purchase invoices
6. Assist with month-end close processes
7. Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements
8. Support the preparation of management accounts
9. Assist with budgeting and forecasting
10. Prepare and submit VAT returns
Skills & Experience
11. Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or experienced QBE Accountant
12. Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
13. Strong understanding of core accounting principles
14. Proficient in Excel and accounting software
15. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
16. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
