Location: The role can be undertaken remotely within the UK with occasional travel to London required for events and team activities.

RECCo is a not-for-profit organisation driven by a mission to deliver positive consumer outcomes in the retail energy market. We provide essential industry systems and manage the Retail Energy Code - the key rules for operating in the GB retail energy market. We are building a retail energy market that’s fit for the future. With the consumer at the heart of everything we do, we work with industry stakeholders to ensure the market runs efficiently and effectively.


The Corporate Affairs team plays a central role in this mission, bringing together People and Culture, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, Events and Brand activities. This ensures RECCo has a clear, trusted voice, builds strong relationships, and maintains a positive internal culture as the organisation continues to grow.


This role will provide hands-on support to the Corporate Affairs functions above, while structured development is offered for someone at an early stage in their career.


What you’ll be doing

This entry-level development role is designed to support the day-to-day delivery spanning the above Corporate Affairs activity. You’ll work closely with colleagues across stakeholder engagement, communications, events and people & culture, helping ensure routine tasks (including reporting and insight analysis) is delivered smoothly and consistently.


This is a broad and varied role, giving exposure to cross-department activities within a corporate environment. You’ll support planning, coordination, administration and content delivery, while building your practical experience and confidence.


As RECCo grows and our engagement strategy expands, this role plays an important part in keeping our plans running efficiently while ensuring stakeholders and colleagues receive a high-quality experience at every touchpoint.


Your Responsibilities


Day-to-day delivery and coordination

* Supporting delivery of Corporate Affairs activity by completing routine and operational tasks accurately and on time
* Maintaining records, contact lists and team databases (such as RECCo’s Stakeholder Relationship Management system) to support stakeholder engagement activity and insight reporting
* Preparing engagement meeting packs, briefing notes and coordinating the teams monthly stakeholder engagement report to support team and executive activity Supporting the Digital Communications and Marketing Manager by collecting and reporting on channel performance data, using insights to inform and improve communications activity


Stakeholder engagement and communications

* Assisting with the administration of stakeholder engagement plans, surveys and campaigns
* Supporting the preparation and publishing of digital and internal channel content

Events and external activity

* Supporting the planning and delivery of events, including venue research, materials preparation and on-the-day support
* Assisting with logistics and coordination for meetings, workshops and engagement sessions


People and Culture

* Supporting internal communications activity, including publishing intranet content
* Assisting with onboarding communications and internal coordination for new RECCo joiners
* Providing administrative support for internal engagement activities and social initiatives


Learning and Development

* Building knowledge and skills across Corporate Affairs disciplines through hands-on experience
* Actively seeking feedback and development opportunities to grow capability over time


About You

* Strong organisational skills, able to manage tasks accurately and reliably
* Clear written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
* Confident using common digital tools (e.g. Microsoft Office / Teams) as well as learning new systems
* Keen interest in data, reporting and data insights
* A proactive approach, willing to take ownership of tasks and ask questions when needed
* Ability to work collaboratively with a broad group of colleagues from different teams
* Interest in developing a career in Corporate Affairs, communications, stakeholder engagement or people-focused roles
