Suffolk Marine Safety is a leading provider of marine safety equipment and services to both the consumer and commercial markets. The business has a strong background of growth, and has recently moved into new, larger, sector-leading premises.
This position is extremely varied and requires someone with administration, and customer-facing service background. The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude, be able to pick up new skills and systems quickly, work well under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties Include –
· Assisting with Website Administration & Housekeeping
· Answering incoming telephone enquiries
· Booking collections and returns using carriers.
· Sales of products and services to customers visiting the premises and on the telephone.
· Processing Cash, card, and online payments.
· Maintaining customer relationships and accurate records on our business system.
· Processing product returns and refunds
· Assisting with stock management including raising purchase orders and maintaining stock in retail showroom.
· Keeping showroom and general communal areas orderly
· Booking in and invoicing service work
· Producing Company presentations (Powerpoint)
In time, may also progress to
· Creating new hire contracts.
· Organising hire fleet servicing and exchanges.
· Renewing hire contracts.
· Invoicing hire contracts.
This role requires a highly flexible and willing approach. You will be a key member of staff in a small but busy team.
You will be required to assist other members of staff in their role during busy times and to cover absence.
