Are you patient, caring, and passionate about helping children succeed? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a student with ADHD and sensory sensitivities.
Location: Croydon Area
Day rate: £100-110 per day dependent on experience
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Role: Full time (Monday to Friday) 5 days Long term Job
Your Key Responsibilities as a SEMH LSA:
* Provide movement breaks and sensory support to help the student focus.
* Reduce anxiety during transitions and unstructured times by escorting and supporting the student.
* Teach emotional regulation and social skills, tailored to their needs.
* Work closely with the student’s family to ensure consistency between home and school.
* Keep the student’s routine predictable and help them prepare for changes.
* Collaborate with specialists, like Occupational Therapists, to meet their physical and emotional needs.
