Job Summary:
We are an independent coffee shop located in the heart Weymouth Harbour, serving locally roasted barista coffee and freshly made artisan bakes. We have a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a colourful, funky space that both customers & staff can enjoy. We are very lucky to have with us a fun, dedicated, close-knit team of people that we are now looking to expand.
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person, who can deliver top quality customer service and works well within a team. Someone who will help uphold our high standards and prioritises positive customer experiences.
This is a zero hours contract, working weekends & starting at 8 hours per week. There is the offer of additional hours during the holiday season.
Your responsibilities would include:
· Greeting customers with a friendly service.
· Working on the Point-of-Sale system to take orders.
· Handling and packaging bakery items.
· Upkeep of stock rotation.
· Stamping and storing takeaway packaging.
· Cleaning and wiping down tables.
· Helping sustain a steady flow during busy hours.
· Assisting team members with close down at the end of each day.
· Growing knowledge of products and allergens to relay to customers when necessary.
