Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated IT Operations Systems Support Analyst to join our team, based at the Waterman Road production facility working on a 2-shift rotation.
Main Responsibilities :
1. Complete online daily checklist activities
2. Scorecard compliance activities including patching, antivirus and reboot schedules
3. Providing 1st/2nd line technical support & problem analysis, with Incident management via defined escalation
4. procedures where required to completion
5. Monitor Ivanti call logging system and resolve production tickets within agreed SLA (Ivanti)
6. Ensure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved in accordance with ISMS and Sarbanes
7. Oxley
8. Ensuring pro-active monitoring of systems using key performance indicators and dashboards (Nagios/Orion)
9. Ensuring performance and availability of all computer systems including hardware, networks, IT security and
10. telecommunications are maintained within the agreed SLA
11. Maintain Computer systems to current corporate standards for Windows10 / Windows Server 2019 Operating
12. Systems
13. Purchasing for all IT operations hardware/software requirements (Coupa)
14. Configuring all onsite hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, thin clients, industrial PCs
15. Deploying new hardware into production environment to agreed scheduled maintenance windows
16. New user onboarding
17. Monitoring all customer inbound orders and sequences messages
18. Maintaining in-house JIT application to support manufacturing requirements
19. Rollout and upkeep of networking infrastructure
20. Project management to ensure corporate deliverables are met within time and budget
21. Asset inventory management for hardware and software
22. Maintain production critical hot-swap equipment availability
23. Disaster recovery planning activities and failover testing practices
24. General administration and housekeeping of Operations stock room
Key Skills and Qualifications:
25. 5 years work experience within an IT System Support Environment
26. 3 years work experience in JIT manufacturing/automotive support environment preferred
27. Excellent knowledge of IT technologies and best practices essential
28. Experienced in problem resolution for Windows servers & workstations
29. Competent with Windows Server OS | MS SQL Server | Windows OS | Microsoft Office
30. Cisco certification advantageous
31. VMware vSphere knowledge advantageous
32. Experienced IT professional with proven ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced JIT environment
33. Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at all levels
34. Team player
35. Flexible to meet business requirements with occasional activities outside of core business hours
