What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
* Ensuring the catering service and dining experience are of the highest standard.
* Monitoring food stock levels and working within budget to ensure efficiency.
* Assisting with kitchen audits and ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
* Engaging with residents to ensure meal satisfaction and promote choice and dignity.
* Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and adherence to hygiene standards.
* Liaising with suppliers to maintain quality and value in food provision.
* Supporting and motivating the kitchen team to maintain high service standards.

What We Ask in Return:
* NVQ Level 3 in Food Hygiene (or willingness to obtain).
* Minimum of two years' experience in a catering environment.
* Experience working in a care home setting (desirable but not essential).
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations.
* A flexible and positive approach to work, with the ability to adapt to change.
