Offer description

How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four?

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.

Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.

Job Title: SEN Primary Tutor

Location: 3 Dimensions School, Somerset, TA20 3AJ

Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum dependant on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Start date: November 2025

Due to the rural location of the school and limited access to public transport, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Primary Tutor to join the team at 3 Dimensions School, part of Options Autism — a division of Outcomes First Group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing, forward-thinking educational setting where you can help pupils with autism and other learning differences access high-quality, individualised education and achieve exceptional outcomes. * Contribute to vocational/work-based curriculum where appropriate
* Support pupils in developing functional and life skills
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to colleagues
* Help manage the classroom environment to meet the sensory and emotional needs of pupils
* Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants and contribute to a consistent, team-based approach

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for an individual with a creative, flexible and learner-centred approach, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.

Essential:

* Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism
* Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning profiles
* Confident in managing and supporting challenging behaviour positively and calmly
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Proactive and resilient, with strong organisational abilities
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
