Subcontract Administrator (Advanced Manufacturing)
As a Subcontract Administrator for Advanced Manufacturing, you will be responsible for contracting standard to complex professional and/or construction services. The Subcontract Administrator may act as lead on small projects (Total Installed Cost of $50M or less) while using best practices and knowledge of requirements to solve basic problems and handle day‑to‑day subcontracting tasks with minimal guidance.
Here’s What You’ll Do
* Preparation of Request for Proposal packages
* Issuance and administration of bid packages throughout the bid cycle
* Coordinate and host Prebid meetings with bidders and Project Team members
* Receipt and review of proposals
* Tabulation of proposals
* Coordinate clarification meetings with bidders and Project team
* Prepare commercial bid evaluations
* Negotiate terms and conditions with bidders and coordinate final negotiations with legal department
* Route requisition for award documents to project team for approvals
* Draft award Subcontract documents and issue to successful bidder
* Coordinate pre‑award meetings
* Manage Subcontractor invoices
* Manage change orders
* Mitigate Subcontractor risk and assist with any claims or disputes
* Subcontract close‑out activities
Here’s what you’ll need
* Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent project experience
* 4+ years of experience in subcontracting and contract management
* 2‑5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing or Data Center Projects is preferred
* Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong teamwork
* Ability to work and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
* A drive to solve complex and challenging problems
Ideally, you’ll have
* Experience working on medium to large EPCM projects

Base Salary Range
The base salary range for this position is $75,300.00 to $103,500.00. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Work Location / Working Conditions
We empower employees with a hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations. Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full‑time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
