Overview
Assistant Teaching Professor – Nuclear Energy MPhil Course Director, based at the Department of Engineering’s Central Cambridge site.
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the course, including planning, development, management, delivery, and admissions.
* Deliver course content and run research projects.
* Support education, learning, and research at the highest international levels.
Qualifications
* PhD level education or equivalent experience in nuclear engineering or related topics.
* Strong technical knowledge across a range of nuclear engineering topics.
* Proven track record in relationship management with experience in teaching delivery and/or design of teaching materials.
* Expert knowledge of teaching a particular subject with critical understanding of relevant theory or principles beyond the immediate specialism.
* Excellent presentation skills for spoken and written communication.
* Attributes to represent the MPhil programme to students, the university, and externally.
* Experience in nuclear engineering research is advantageous.
Employment Details
Fixed-term: 3 years in the first instance.
