About the Role:
This is a critical position that requires a high level of expertise and experience in WTG construction, particularly in large complex projects. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that WTG marshalling harbour activities are executed safely and in accordance with technical and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect incoming components and track preservation in compliance with client requirements;
* Conduct final inspections prior to loadout and assembled tower walkdowns;
* Report and track close-out of punch list items;
* Produce a daily report of key activities and findings on site;
* Attend safety walkarounds with client and conduct quality documentation reviews;
* Liaise with project Commissioning and Completions team on outstanding punch list items.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in WTG construction, particularly in large complex projects;
* Validated knowledge of GWOs (Manual Handling, First Aid, Working at Heights, Fire Awareness) and other relevant industry certifications;
* Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in an engineering or construction discipline;
* Five years of relevant experience, including five years of experience as an Employer Representative in similar roles;
* Demonstrable understanding of the quality function during the execution of EPC contracts;
* Experience of working collaboratively with Clients and Contractors;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
