Salary: A GBP 25,716 (A GBP 20,850.81 pro: rta) a year + benefits

Responsibilities
* The primary function of this role is to coordinate the processes and procedures in line with RNN Group’s duty for learners with Education Health and Care Plans studying within Group.
* Coordinate the processes and procedures to ensure that the organisation meets its duty outlined in the SEND Code of Practice.
* Prepare EHCP reports and reviews as appropriate.
* Monitor performance and progression of the learners with EHCP.
* Support with communication between departments.
* Attend staff, team and department meetings.
* Contribute and support curriculum to ensure learners are provided with the knowledge, skills and cultural capital they need to overcome social injustice and develop broader life skills and citizenship as outlined in the EHCP outcomes.
* Make a positive impact on learners' current learning opportunities and future life prospects.
Skills and Qualifications
* A high level of professionalism, communication and personal skills.
* A background in SEND support and extensive knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice is essential.
* Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy and hold a specialist qualification in a relevant subject area, or be willing to work towards.
* Sound knowledge of SEND, High Needs and a broad range of health and medical related issues.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to accurately record information in a timely manner, empathy and flexibility to meet the needs of a variety of learners.
* Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for learners and collaborate with the wider college community to ensure the Group meets its duty in terms of the SEND Code of Practice and Local Authority Graduated Response.
