Were recruiting for an EC&I Design Engineer to join a leading engineering company in Heywood, specialising in control and instrumentation systems for the oil & gas, process, and petrochemical sectors. This is a technically focused, hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical design, control systems, and instrumentation, particularly within hazardous or regulated environments. Youll play a key role in producing EC&I designs, specifying PLC hardware and instrumentation, generating technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with ATEX and other relevant standards. The role is hybrid, with occasional site visits for testing, inspection, and client support.
