The Site Engineer will be responsible for the setting out, surveying, and engineering control of a structural footbridge project. This is a technically focused role, ideal for an engineer with previous structures or bridge experience who is comfortable working independently on site.
The position offers long-term continuity (circa 18 months) and would suit someone living locally to Evesham or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for structural elements including foundations, abutments, decks, and associated civils works
Surveying and engineering control using GPS / Total Station equipment
Interpreting construction drawings and specifications
Ensuring works are delivered to required quality and tolerances
Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
Supporting the Site Manager with technical queries and coordination of subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on structures or bridge projects
Strong setting out and surveying background
Valid CSCS card (essential)
Ability to work independently and take ownership of engineering duties
Ideally based near Evesham or within a commutable distance
