GSL Education are currently seeking caring and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Chaddesden. As a Primary TA, this role is perfect for someone dedicated to helping pupils thrive academically and socially in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Assist with lesson preparation and support teachers during lessons.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils to reinforce learning.
* Support positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
* Help prepare and organise learning materials.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress and well-being.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting is desirable.
* A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps.
