This post is 0.8 WTE CAMHS senior clinical team leadership post for the CAMH Access Service Pathway (CAS) in Central Bedfordshire, and will be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and services for children and young people with early signs of mental health problems and their families.
Working in partnership with the Associate Clinical Director, General Manager and Deputy Associate Clinical Director (Professions Lead - non medical), and other Clinical Team Leads, the post holder will form part of the senior clinical leadership for the service. You will provide inspirational leadership of multidisciplinary clinicians to ensure effective, early, and evidence based assessment and treatment, accessible care pathways and a culture of continuous quality improvement in the service.
Main duties of the job
The service employs a resilience-based model of practice, endeavours to develop its capacity to co-produce its needs-based offer with all stakeholders, and to move to greater community-based integration of the early intervention offer with other children\'s services partners. The Lead will ensure robust patient safety, improved patient experience, clinical outcomes, quality and performance standards.
You will deliver on performance targets and quality outcomes in order to transform the service, improving access to and choice of evidence based therapies and 2 building capability to deliver positive and measureable outcomes for children and young people and their families.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree level study or equivalent / Further post degree qualification Current Registration with appropriate professional body e.g. ACP/ HPC / UKCP / NMC Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy Honours degree.
* Postgraduate Diploma / MA in Psychoanalytical Observational Studies or recognised equivalent. Masters in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy: Child & Adolescent. or Clinical/Counselling Psychology Honours degree.
* Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS. or
* Family & Systemic Psychotherapy Qualification in appropriate mental health/social welfare profession such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Nursing or Counselling.
Experience
* Experience of providing senior clinical leadership
* Experience of supervising and line managing in a multidisciplinary / multiagency context
* Experience of leading clinical CAMHS service developments
* Experience of representing the service a multi-agency strategic planning level groups
Knowledge
* Ability to provide senior clinical leadership and management across disciplines
* Ability to take a lead in service developments
* Ability to liaise and consult with other agencies effectively
* Skills in project management
