In this role you will assist in the entire production process of standards and Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) used for the calibration and validation of Malvern Panalytical' s X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometers. What you’ll be doing: The preparation of standards and CRMs, including weighing, splitting, pipetting, milling, pelletisation and fusion Analysis of standards and CRMs using primarily XRF spectrometry and gravimetric techniques Quality checking of standards and CRMs Packing and shipping of standards and CRMs General office and laboratory duties Health and Safety of self and others About you: Minimum A-level (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline, preferably with a chemistry or physics bias Must be able to follow laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Be methodical and be cleanliness conscious Have a Structured and logical approach Good problem-solving skills Good organizational skills Attention to detail and quality Work in an accurate and precise manner Be methodical and be cleanliness conscious Good communication skills Great to have?
