Application Deadline: 27 June 2025
Department: Proactive Care
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: London Bridge
Compensation: £24,000 - £31,000 / year
Description
Are you confident on the phone, great at handling rejection, and ready to help people take action for their health?
We’re looking for driven, resilient communicators to join our Patient Support Hub as part of a high-performing outbound calling team.
In this role, you’ll speak directly with NHS patients who need vital health reviews — and your job is to persuade them to book an appointment that could improve or even save their life. You’ll make hundreds of calls per week, overcome objections, and use your people skills to turn patient hesitation into action.
This is a high-energy calling role where your success will be dictated by your ability to connect, convince, and keep pushing when faced with rejection. If you’ve done call centre sales, door-to-door, or street fundraising, you’ll know the feeling — and if you thrive in that kind of challenge, we want you.
Key Responsibilities
Make 150+ outbound calls per day to patients due clinical reviews or health interventions.
Hit daily, weekly, and monthly booking targets
Engage, educate, and persuade patients to book appointments.
Handle objections professionally—patients may have been contacted multiple times already.
Explain health benefits and address concerns to encourage attendance.
Track your performance and take part in team coaching to improve your close rate
Track call outcomes and maintain accurate patient records using our systems.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
(Required):
Motivated by KPIs - Driven to hit your personal and team targets
Exceptional communication skills – Ability to build rapport, educate and persuade hesitant or sceptical patients.
Resilience and determination – You’ll face a lot of rejection, so the ability to bounce back quickly from a “no” and stay motivated throughout the day is key to your success.
Quick learner – You’ll cover multiple clinical areas, so the ability to learn and apply medical terminology is key (training provided).
Fluent in English with strong computer skills – Experience using CRM systems is a plus.
(Highly Desirable)
Experience in outbound calling, telesales, door-to-door, or fundraising — You’re confident talking to strangers and love a challenge.
Benefits
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with great opportunities for progression, and the chance to shape a growing service.
A base salary of £24,000, with the opportunity to increase your earnings to a total of £31,000 per year through performance-based monthly commission and an end-of-year bonus.
