As a WW Designer on Reclaimed Vintage, you will work closely with the design team to develop the Reclaimed Vintage ranges for our youthful customer base. If you love fashion design, researching trends, and have an eye for vintage-inspired fashion, this role offers an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced, fashion-forward team.
What you'll be doing
* Collaborating with the Reclaimed Vintage design team to research, develop, and design across categories including WW Outerwear, Knitwear, Jersey, and Denim, focusing on key shapes, colors, fabrics, and creating a versatile range for a global audience.
* Responding to sales data to create commercially relevant, fashion-forward collections.
* Researching current and upcoming trends from various sources to identify innovative pieces for the market.
* Working with technical teams on initial fittings and addressing any issues.
* Building relationships with suppliers and advising factories on design details, construction, materials, and trims.
* Following critical timelines to ensure timely product development aligned with sales periods.
* Developing unique products with short lead times and adapting quickly to new trends.
* Creating detailed technical packs and managing designs from conception to launch.
* Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company culture.
Qualifications
* Experience in a commercial or fashion brand with a proven track record.
* Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the Reclaimed Vintage brand and customer base.
* Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, and strong hand drawing skills.
* A fashion-forward mindset, with excellent work ethics and time management skills.
* Ability to identify problems, suggest improvements, and work calmly under pressure.
* Effective communication skills within a team environment.
* Confidence in presenting collections and collaborating with buyers and teams independently.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally for meetings and inspiration trips.
