Project Engineer (Mechanical / Product Design) – Location: Daventry – Office Based
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per year

We are recruiting for an established and growing engineering business that specialises in the design, development, and global distribution of mounting solutions for professional AV equipment, supporting a wide range of sectors including retail, education, healthcare, and commercial environments.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing multiple engineering/design projects from concept through to delivery.
* Acting as the link between customers, sales teams, and design engineers.
* Coordinating design work using SolidWorks CAD (reviewing, not producing drawings).
* Ensuring projects are completed on time and to customer specifications.
* Reviewing drawings with customers and supporting project meetings.
* Supporting the development of bespoke products and catalogue solutions.
* Suggesting design improvements and ensuring products are fit for purpose.
Experience Required
* 2+ years' experience in Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Product Design.
* Experience managing or coordinating engineering projects.
* Ability to read and understand 3D CAD drawings.
* Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, or mechanical products.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
* Experience using SolidWorks.
* Previous design experience (3D modelling).
* Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree – not essential).
