Vehicle Service Advisor Required – Portsmouth, Hampshire
1. Basic Salary circa £28,000, OTE £40,000
2. Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 Mon – Fr, 1 in 3 Sat - 08:00 - 12:00 (Time of in Lieu when working for a Saturday giving you a 2.5 day weekend!)

Our client, a award winning Multi-Franchised Main Car Dealer is currently looking to hire a Service Advisor to join their team in a state-of-the-art vehicle dealership in the Portsmouth Area.
Our client has a strong reputation within the automotive trade, with over 420 staff employed across West Sussex, Hampshire & Surrey. They offer a steady, well-paid employment with a pleasant atmosphere alongside continuous training and development.
They have a large successful service operation and are looking for a Service advisor to assist the team. You will ideally have an experience within a similar automotive related role or a background within front of house customer service roles with excellent administration skills, and an interest in working within the automotive sector.

Duties of a Service Advisor with our Client:
17. Attending to customers when dropping off and collecting their vehicles for service/repair.
18. Taking accurate notes of the customer's requests and communicating them to the workshop team.
19. Keeping customers updated during the day with the progress of their vehicle.
20. Costing and gaining permission for any additional work found.
21. Preparing and presenting the customer invoice and associated paperwork.
22. Giving a full explanation to the customer of the work undertaken.
23. Presenting service products such as service plans, extended warranties etc.
What our client expects of their Service Advisor:
24. IT literate
25. Customer focused.
26. Ability to upsell.
27. Excellent customer satisfaction skills
28. Confident communication skills
29. Experience using Pinnacle DMS is preferable but not essential.
30. Organisation skills and being able to manage customer appointments.
31. Full UK Driving Licence. – Preferably Clean
