About the Role As Nightshift Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the team as they pick, pack, and prepare delivery vans for early-morning distribution to some of Scotland’s best-known hospitality clients. You’ll play a key role in route planning, shipping coordination, and making sure the night's work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with the Daytime Manager through daily handovers to ensure a smooth, consistent operation across shifts. Why Join This Business? Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the night operations team in a fast-paced fresh produce environment. Oversee accurate picking and packing of orders for next-day delivery. Plan and manage delivery routes for maximum efficiency and timeliness. Ensure vans are loaded correctly and ready for dispatch each morning. Maintain high standards in cleanliness, accuracy, and health & safety. Support and coach the team to establish strong working habits and a culture of pride in the job. Carry out daily handovers with the Daytime Manager to keep everyone aligned What You'll Bring Experience managing teams in a warehouse, logistics, or nightshift environment (food/FMCG preferred). A keen eye for detail – accuracy and presentation matter when serving premium catering clients. A genuine interest in fresh produce and the care that goes into handling it properly. Strong leadership skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Ability to uphold high standards while maintaining team morale and efficiency. Hours & Flexibility Core hours: 10pm – 6am, Sunday to Friday (6 nights/week). Salary: £35,000 based on 6 nights. Flexibility: 5-night working week may be considered, with a pro-rata salary adjustment.
