You will collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, managers, and fellow wranglers to support daily robot operations, experiments, and projects.
About the Role:
As a
Robot Wrangler Services Specialist
, you will play a key role in daily robot setup, operation, and maintenance, while ensuring robust dataset collection and system performance. You will work across robotic hardware, software, VR environments, and simulation setups to execute complex manipulation tasks and deliver clean, usable datasets. This is a contract position, based onsite in London, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform daily robot setups, operations, and maintenance for experiments and assigned tasks.
* Collect, label, and manage datasets ("Robot Data") ensuring accuracy, usability, and compliance with company standards.
* Execute robotic manipulation tasks in simulation, Virtual Reality, and remote-control environments.
* Ensure robotic hardware and software remain configured, controlled, and aligned with company protocols.
* Troubleshoot, report, and resolve technical issues across robotic hardware and software.
* Write and maintain relevant code to support robot setups and operations.
* Create and refine technical documentation, processes, and procedures.
* Support researchers, engineers, and managers through collaborative projects and daily operations.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Hands-on experience with robotic hardware and software configuration.
* Proficiency in coding relevant to robotic applications.
* Exposure to simulation, Virtual Reality, and remote manipulation environments.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
* Experience in dataset collection, processing, and labeling for machine learning/robotics applications.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
* Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
