The role
To provide all aspects of support to the Commercial Department, both for our UK home market and internationally, specifically managing the delivery of customer orders (aftersales spares & repairs), whilst also ensuring best practice and compliance in all areas of commercial activity. The Customer Order Co-Ordinator will manage the commercial relationship with customers for all spares and repairs orders executed by the business. They will be responsible for the review and acceptance of customer orders, and the co-ordination of their execution through the business.
Job Responsibilities (Comprehensive detail of the job content) In supporting the Commercial Team the Customer Order Co-Ordinator will:
* Management of dedicated portfolio of spares, repairs and post design services orders, from cradle to grave.
* Liaising with all internal departments to successfully execute to customer expectation.
* Assess commercial risks to the business and collaborate with colleagues, whilst mitigating and managing those risks.
* Ensuring departmental compliance with process and best practice.
* Liaise with various departments in order to investigate and resolve customer issues.
* Apply customer relationship management techniques and processes to external relationships.
* Attend and lead internal and customer project reviews and prepare minutes.
* Prepare progress reports and reviews for customers and management.
* Seek to learn and understand, as part of your ongoing growth and development, the importance of business risks, terms and conditions, milestone payment plans, cash flow, intellectual property, business agreements et al.

* Ability to adapt standard agreements
* Ability to forge good working relationships and communicate with and influence customers and colleagues.
* Will be prepared to learn new skills and will be interested in self-development within the role.
* Will be able to work efficiently and effectively to prioritise a diverse range of tasks.
* Have knowledge and experience of MS Office applications including Excel & Word.
Minimum Professional, Academic or Other Qualifications
Essential
* Will be qualified and/or suitably experienced in a related (commercial\business) discipline.
