MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and labor utilization targets.
* Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.
* Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
* Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts and maintaining accurate operational documentation and reporting.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
* Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
* Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or related technical field preferred
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments preferred
* Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or behavior-based safety programs preferred
* Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
